MOMMA'S OFFICE · LEGAL DEPARTMENT

Privacy policyMomma read every word. Twice.

Last updated: October 4, 2026

The short version

  • You sign in with Apple. We never see your Apple password.
  • The server keeps your pictures, your prompts and what each picture cost, so your lot is the same on every device.
  • OpenRouter makes the pictures. It gets your prompt and any trade-in pictures, not your name or email.
  • No ads. No analytics. No tracking. We sell nothing and share nothing for marketing.
  • Delete your account in the app and every picture is deleted. What stays is an anonymous record of past spending.

Who runs Big Barry's

Big Barry's is a small private app for invited people, handed out through Apple's TestFlight. It is run by the person who invited you. "We" on this page means them. Big Barry is a fictional character; he does not read your data.

What we get when you sign in

You sign in with Apple. Apple gives the app:

  • a member number that is unique to this app, so we know it is you next time;
  • your name and email, only if you choose to share them. Apple lets you hide your real email.

A new member also enters an invite code once. We note which code you used.

What the server stores

  • Your pictures: the original files and smaller copies, stored in Cloudflare Images.
  • What made them: the prompt, the settings (model, quality, shape, flags) and the job's progress.
  • Your trade-ins: the reference pictures you add from Photos, the camera, Files or the clipboard.
  • How you sort them: kept or tossed, favorites, tags, notes, and how often you sent a picture.
  • What it cost: one record for each request to OpenRouter, with its exact price, so Momma can show your spending and keep your daily limit.
  • Your devices: a device name, the platform, and a push token, so we can send you the "SOLD!" notification and keep your devices in sync.
  • Your sign-ins: a session for each device you are signed in on.

Your iPhone, iPad and Mac keep small copies of your pictures, so the grids, the widgets and the iMessage app work offline. If you turn on "Keep full pictures" in Momma's Office, they keep the full pictures too. The radio, the sounds and the art are part of the app; playing them sends nothing anywhere.

Who makes the pictures

When you tap MAKE IT!, our server sends your prompt, your settings and any trade-in pictures to OpenRouter. OpenRouter passes them to the company that runs the picture model you picked (for example OpenAI), and sends the picture back. The same happens when Doug rewrites a prompt, and when Barry tags a picture you kept (then the model sees the small copy of that picture and its prompt; you can turn auto-tags off). We do not send your name, your email or your Apple member number. OpenRouter's and the model companies' own policies apply to what they receive.

Where it lives

The server runs on Cloudflare (Workers, a D1 database, Queues and Cloudflare Images). Notifications go through Apple's push service. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address to deliver each request, and our server keeps short technical logs (for example the time, the address of the request and any error) for a few days to find and fix bugs.

Who can see your things

  • You, on every device you sign in on.
  • The person who runs Big Barry's, in the admin tools. They can see members' pictures, prompts, devices and spending. They use this to keep costs in check, to help when something breaks, and to take down a picture that breaks the rules.
  • The people you send pictures to. A picture you send in Messages is a normal message.

Other members cannot see your lot. There is no public gallery and no sharing between members.

What we never do

  • No ads, no ad networks, no analytics, no tracking across apps or websites.
  • We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for marketing.
  • This website sets no cookies, runs no scripts from anyone else, and counts no visitors. The hit counter in the footer is decorative.

How long we keep things

  • Pictures you kept stay until you delete them or your account.
  • Pictures you did not keep go to the Clearance Bin after 3 days, and are deleted 3 days after that.
  • When you delete something, it is gone from your devices at once and fully removed from the database within 30 days.

Deleting your account

In the app, open Momma's Office and tap DELETE ACCOUNT. We then delete all your pictures and their files in Cloudflare Images, your jobs, trade-ins, devices and sign-ins. What stays is an anonymized record: no name, no email and no link to your Apple ID, with the past spending records attached, so the cost totals stay correct. You can join again later with a new invite.

Children

Big Barry's is for adults invited by the person who runs it. It is not meant for children.

Questions and changes
